Jenn Pfeiffer has spent more than 25 years helping Marin homeowners navigate some of the most important financial and lifestyle decisions of their lives. As the founder of the Jenn Pfeiffer Team, she specializes in working with homeowners who are ready to downsize, rightsize, or transition into the next chapter with clarity and confidence.

Many of Jenn’s clients have lived in their homes for decades. Selling is rarely just a real estate decision. It is often a financial, logistical, and emotional transition. Jenn understands that reality. Her role goes far beyond listing a property. She helps homeowners evaluate their options, protect their equity, and create a thoughtful plan for what comes next.

A key part of that planning involves helping homeowners understand the financial advantages available to them, including California’s Prop 19. Jenn regularly works with clients who want to transfer their existing property tax base to a new home. For many longtime homeowners in Marin County, this can make downsizing financially possible while maintaining tax stability. Jenn guides clients through the timing, rules, and strategy so they can make informed decisions before they sell.

Jenn also collaborates with experienced loan professionals who can help homeowners explore financing strategies that support their next move. This includes reverse mortgage options that may allow clients to purchase a new home, access equity, or create additional financial flexibility during the transition. Today, Jenn continues to serve Marin homeowners with the same approach that has defined her career for more than two decades: practical advice, deep local knowledge, and a clear strategy for moving forward.

Jenn is a San Rafael native and is very involved with San Rafael High School Alumni.  She graduated with a BA in English Literature from UC Davis.  She and her husband, Ed Pfeiffer, a real estate appraiser, raised their family in Greenbrae.  All three kids have graduated from college and living on their own, so Jenn and her husband are living their lives as empty nesters.  Although there’s not as much time as they’d like for travel, they do their best to get out to see the world.  Italy, Croatia, Mexico City, Berlin, Morocco and the UK are their favorite places to spend time.
